Nicotine salt e-liquid is made for low-wattage pod systems. A small amount of acid lowers the liquid's pH, which keeps higher strengths smooth enough to vape in a small device. That is why salts come in 30 mL bottles at strengths such as 25, 35 and 50 mg/mL. We stock salts from 7Daze, Coastal Clouds, Cloud Nurdz, Juice Head, Monster Vape Labs, Naked and Tyson 2.0, among others.
How to choose a salt nic
- Strength. Higher strengths deliver more nicotine per puff in a pod; if you are coming from a 5% disposable, 50 mg/mL is the equivalent.
- Coil resistance. Salts suit pods and coils rated around 0.6 ohms and above. Check the number printed on your pod.
- Bottle and dropper. Most 30 mL salts use a narrow tip that fills small pod ports without spills.
- Pick the same flavor family. Many lines, Coastal Clouds and Juice Head among them, offer the same profile as freebase, so you can switch devices without switching taste.
Need a device? See pod systems. Running a sub-ohm tank? Choose freebase e-liquid instead.
Salt nic questions
What is the difference between salt nic and freebase?
Salt nic contains an acid that lowers pH, so high strengths stay smooth in low-power pods. Freebase is the unmodified form, used at lower strengths in higher-power devices.
Can I refill a disposable with salt nic?
No. Disposables are sealed and not designed to be refilled.
What strength matches a 5% disposable?
5% equals 50 mg/mL. Many vapers moving to a refillable pod start at 35 or 50 mg/mL salt.
